Thefirst France VolumeEM Scientific Days will be held on September 28 and 29, 2026, in Bordeaux.
The goal of this event is to bring together the community around 3D electron microscopy approaches and complementary techniques, such as TomoX, in the fields of life sciences and materials sciences.
It will be a great opportunity to raise the profile of players in the field, share our advances, and foster new collaborations.
France-volumeEM initiative
France_VolumeEM is an initiative to bring together the French scientific community working with volume electron microscopy (vEM or 3DEM), a field covering sample preparation, acquisition (FIB-SEM, SBF-SEM, Array-Tomography, (S)TEM-Tomography, and ssTEM), as well as data processing (as with our neighbors at volumeEM).
Its ambition is to create a community where researchers, biologists, microscopists, and 3D imaging specialists can share their scientific advances and challenges.
By structuring this network, the initiative aims to stimulate interaction between teams, encourage new collaborations, and foster cross-disciplinary research projects on a national scale.
